Ingredients

  • Original or Sourdough Bays® English Muffins
  • 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 Pkg of Cream Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 6 Eggs
  • Fresh Chives

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Grease each small casserole dish or ramekin with butter
  • Pour in about 1/2 cup of cream and add 1 Tbsp of cream cheese in each ramekin, and season with black pepper
  • Crack eggs on top, make sure yolk remains intact
  • Cover casserole dishes with lids (or foil) and place into an oven safe baking pan
  • Pour water halfway up the sides of the casserole dishes, get a deeper pan if necessary
  • Bake in oven for 10 minutes, uncover and continue baking until whites are cooked, but yolks are still runny
  • Gently toast and butter 4 English muffin halves. Use English muffins to dip into your creamy baked Oeuf en Cocotte!
