Ingredients
- Original or Sourdough Bays® English Muffins
- 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Pkg of Cream Cheese
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- 6 Eggs
- Fresh Chives
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Grease each small casserole dish or ramekin with butter
- Pour in about 1/2 cup of cream and add 1 Tbsp of cream cheese in each ramekin, and season with black pepper
- Crack eggs on top, make sure yolk remains intact
- Cover casserole dishes with lids (or foil) and place into an oven safe baking pan
- Pour water halfway up the sides of the casserole dishes, get a deeper pan if necessary
- Bake in oven for 10 minutes, uncover and continue baking until whites are cooked, but yolks are still runny
- Gently toast and butter 4 English muffin halves. Use English muffins to dip into your creamy baked Oeuf en Cocotte!
