Bacon Jam Burger

Ingredients
- Bays® Original English Muffins
- 6 Cloves of Garlic, minced
- ½ C Brown Sugar
- 2-4 Slices of Gouda Cheese
- ½ C Maple Syrup
- 2 Burger Patties
- ¼ C Balsamic Vinegar
- 6 Slices of Bacon
- 1 Large Sweet Onion
Instructions
- 1. Cook bacon until crispy and set aside
- 2. Saute onions until translucent
- 3. Add minced garlic, saute for 30 seconds
- 4. Add maple syrup, bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes
- 5. Add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar
- 6. Chop bacon and toss into pan
- 7. Simmer for 10 minutes
- 8. Cook burgers to your liking, topping with Gouda cheese
- 9. Assemble burgers on toasted Bays English Muffin with bacon jam on top of the cheese
