Ingredients
- 6 BAYS® English Muffins, toasted
- 1 (6-ounce jar) spaghetti sauce, with or without meat
- Garlic salt
- Dried oregano
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional toppings:
- 6 tablespoons canned mushrooms, drained
- 18 slices pepperoni
- 3 tablespoons basil pesto
- Chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Mushroom Pizza: Top toasted muffin half with 1 tablespoon spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with garlic salt and oregano. Top with 1 tablespoon drained canned mushroom slices, then a scant 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Broil until cheese is lightly golden.
- Pepperoni Pizza: Top toasted muffin half with 1 tablespoon spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with garlic salt and oregano. Top with three slices pepperoni, then a scant 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Broil until cheese is lightly golden.
- Pesto Pizza: Top toasted muffin half with 1 tablespoon spaghetti sauce. Then add 1-1/2 teaspoons pesto. Sprinkle lightly with chopped walnuts, then a scant 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Broil until cheese is lightly golden.
