BACON, BEER & CHEDDAR ENGLISH MUFFIN BITES

Ingredients

  • 6 BAYS® Original English Muffins, split, toasted
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cups stout, dark ale or beer
  • 1 tablespoon coarse grained or spicy brown mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices thick-sliced applewood smoked bacon, chopped, cooked
  • Smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 425ºF.

  • Combine mayonnaise, stout, mustard and hot sauce in a medium bowl; mix well. Stir in cheese and bacon.

  • Spread mixture evenly over muffin halves to edges; place on cookie sheet. Sprinkle lightly with paprika if desired.

  • Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Cut into quarters.
