Buffalo Chicken Burgers

2 pounds ground chicken
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled (or 3 tablespoons real bacon bits)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 cup bottled buffalo wing sauce
3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
6 BAYS English Muffins, split and toasted
6 thins slices red onion
1 cup mixed baby salad greens or shredded lettuce
6 tablespoons bottled blue cheese dressing


In a large bowl, combine chicken, bacon, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well and shape into 6 patties. Place either on grill over medium-hot coals, 4 inches under preheated broiler or in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook 4 minutes per side or until no longer pink inside, turning occasionally and brushing with buffalo sauce during last few minutes of cooking.

Spread 1-1/2 teaspoons mustard on split side of each of 6 muffin halves. Top with sliced onion, greens and meat patties. Spoon 1 tablespoon blue cheese dressing on top of each patty and top with remaining muffin halves.
