Party Pizza
- 6 Bays English Muffins, toasted
- 1 (6 oz. jar) spaghetti sauce (with meat)
- garlic salt
- oregano powder
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Easy Blender Pesto Recipe [recipe follows]

Mushroom Pizza: Top toasted muffin half with 1 tablespoon spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with garlic salt and oregano. Top with 1 tablespoon drained canned mushroom slices -- then a scant 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese. Broil until done.

Pepperoni Pizza: Top toasted muffin half with 1 tablespoon spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with garlic salt and oregano. Top with three slices pepperoni sausage. Top with a scant 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese. Broil until done.

Pesto Pizza: Top toasted muffin half with 1 tablespoon spaghetti sauce. Then add 1 1/2 teaspoons pesto sauce. Sprinkle lightly with chopped walnuts. Then top with scant 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese. Broil until done.

Serves 6
Easy Blender Pesto Recipe
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup walnut halves
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
Add all ingredients except 1/2 of oil to a blender. Blend on low for 15 seconds; add the remaining oil in a thin stream (15-30 seconds more). Sauce should not be blended for more than 45 seconds total. Yield: one cup. A few parsley leaves can be added along with basil to deepen the color if desired.
