Bays: Baking History in Chicago Since 1933

Since 1933 Bays English Muffins has been a part of the greater Chicago community. In addition to providing the highest quality English muffins possible, Bays and its employees are committed to serving the community and the environment in which we live and work. We’re proud of the partnerships we’ve established with like-minded businesses and non-profit organizations over the years.

Here are some of the causes and initiatives that Bays and its employees support:

Breast Cancer Network of Strength (formerly known as Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization) – For the past six years, Bays has sponsored the Breast Cancer Network of Strength Annual Mother’s Day Race to Empower in Chicago. The Breast Cancer Network of Strength is one of the nation’s premier resources for breast cancer information and services. Its most successful service, the “YourShoes” 24/7 Support Center, is staffed by breast cancer survivors who know first-hand what it is like to walk in the shoes of someone who is facing the disease, and serves anyone touched by the disease with information, empowerment and support. We’re excited about our partnership with the Breast Cancer Network of Strength and hope that through the race and other activities we can help them reach even more people so that no one ever faces breast cancer alone.

The Nature Conservancy – Bays supports The Nature Conservancy of Illinois through financial contributions earmarked for the Nachusa Grasslands Preserve in Franklin Grove, Illinois. The important work The Nature Conservancy in Illinois and its volunteer stewards are doing will preserve, protect and promote this last surviving remnant of prairie landscape for all to enjoy for many years to come.
